About Clay Broussard Office Interiors
An owner-led commercial interiors studio in Little Rock, Arkansas — fourteen years, 380 projects and one very short list of excuses.
Our story
Started on one floor of a Lexington Avenue building
The studio began in 2012 with a single project: reorganising a 4,000 sq ft insurance office that had grown from nine people to twenty-six without anyone redrawing the plan. It went well, the client told a neighbour, and the neighbour called. Fourteen years later we have delivered more than 380 commercial projects and planned close to 1.9 million square feet of working space.
We have stayed deliberately independent. We are not a dealership tied to one furniture manufacturer, and we are not a design practice that hands you a beautiful drawing and disappears when pricing arrives. We specify what suits the room and the budget, and we stay on site until it is installed.
What we believe
- A plan you cannot price is not a plan. Every drawing we issue is accompanied by a cost line.
- Nobody should chase us for an update. Written progress report every Friday, without being asked.
- Buildings are used by people, not renderings. Daylight, acoustics and storage before styling.
- The punch list is part of the job. Not an afterthought once the invoice clears.

Ownership
Meet Mary Garcia, owner and principal
Mary Garcia owns and runs the studio. Before founding it she spent eleven years between commercial furniture dealerships and general contracting in Arkansas and north Texas, which is where the studio's habit of pricing everything up front comes from.
Mary personally attends the first walkthrough on every project we take, reviews every furniture schedule before it is issued, and signs off every final punch list. If something on your project is going wrong, she is the escalation point — not a call centre.

Project management
Two project managers running schedule, permits, trades and reporting.
Installation crew
Five OSHA 30-certified installers with our own trucks and lift equipment.
Client service
One coordinator handling orders, deliveries, warranty claims and your paperwork.
Credentials
Licensed, insured and accountable
Insurance

Plans reviewed against 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design — clearances, reach ranges and circulation checked before drawings are issued.
Sustainability
Low-VOC finishes as default, existing furniture refurbished where viable, and take-back of replaced assets for resale or recycling.

Staged payments tied to milestones. The final 10% is only invoiced after the punch list is signed closed.
